Our School

Dear Alderman Families,

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of Alderman Elementary, the home of the Amazing Bears! It is with great enthusiasm that I join this incredible community, and I look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff, supportive families, and exceptional scholars.

With 17 years of experience in Guilford County Schools, I have served in various roles, including teacher assistant, teacher, curriculum facilitator, coach, and administrator. My passion for education centers around creating a positive, inclusive, and enriching environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As we embark on this new journey together, my goal is to ensure a smooth transition while fostering strong partnerships between home and school. I believe that collaboration, open communication, and a family-like atmosphere are essential in making Alderman a place where every scholar feels valued, empowered, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Together, we will build on the strong foundation already in place and continue to make Alderman Elementary a thriving hub for learning and growing. I encourage you to stay connected, share ideas, and take an active role in our school community.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and celebrating the many successes ahead. Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education—I am honored to be part of the Alderman family.

Let’s make this an incredible year! Go Bears! 🐻💙

Sincerely,

Siedah Holmes Principal,
